Day 4 - Grasmere to Patterdale

We woke up this morning to the most beautiful day.  The sun was up and there was a low lying mist over the lakes and waters.  We were so busy admiring it, we forgot to take a photo!
This was todays task, climbing over the fells and down through Patterdale Common and into the village via Grisedale Tarn.
Checking we have all our supplies before we head up.
The views were absolutely stunning.  As it is the weekend, there were a lot of walkers out enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.  We had a quick stop to refuel and admire the surroundings.

We were nearing the summit, our guide Toby was keeping an eye out to make sure everyone was safe on the mountain side!!!! (I think he was just admiring the view actually)
As we came over the summit, Grisedale Tarn came into view.  These waters are left over from glaciers.
Our route then took us down to the tarn.

As we walked along the tarn, we encountered one of the locals fishing!!  Nice people, these lakeland boys!

Had to be dragged away from the view of the tarn, as we descended lower!  .... sorry, to Patterdale
Which way to go?  Back up or down?
Is that the fisherman catching up with us?
Still looking back to admire the view at the end of our day.
What a wonderful day.
